Rochdale’s Mayfield Sports Arena will stage a huge charity event this weekend with the RL Benevolent Fund set to benefit.
Entitled “Touch n Blues” Saturday’s event is set to feature a Touch Rugby competition that will see separate tournaments for female, mixed and community clubs face off during the day, whilst two bands – Strange Ways and Cornerstones – are set to provide the musical entertainment.
The on-field action is set to start at 11.30am, whilst the music will commence at 4.00pm.
Teams already confirmed to take part include a Rochdale Select outfit and a side from the British Asian Rugby Association (BARLA), which was founded by Ikram Butt (pictured).
