Hull FC prop Jamie Thackray has agreed a new one-year contract with the engage Super League outfit which keeps him at the club for the 2009 season.
Thackray, 28, played for the Black and Whites between 2004 and 2006 and rejoined the club in March until the end of the season following his release from hometown club Leeds.
Hull coach Richard Agar Hull said: “Jamie Thackray has the ability to bend and break defensive lines.
“He has impressed with his desire to remain at Hull FC and that desire and attitude has been rewarded with his contract extension.”
Thackray added: “I have loved being back at Hull. It is a fantastic club.
“I am determined to have a big off season to put myself in the best physical shape for 2009 so that I can play my part in Hull FC’s challenge for honours.”
